Odd. Unless the scandoubler is doing something to the Multiscan:Productivity
modes. Make sure the modes are available in the Screenmode prefs and check
it says something like this.

Does not support genlock
Draggable
60Hz,* 31.44kHz*
The bits in bold are the most important bits. You are using a machine with
ECS or AGA right? Now make sure the 31.44khz bit is correct as well. If its
lower than that could cause a problem. If it is lower than make sure VGAOnly
is in DEVS:Monitors.
